    Every two seconds somebody needs blood. That somebody could be a family member, friend or your neighbor. This is an opportunity to help. Memorial Blood Centers and the community of Lakeville have teamed up to host a citywide blood drive.   2. Driver Safety Class

    August 6, 2019, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Heritage Center

    The Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center conducts driver safety classes at the Heritage Center. Drivers 55+ may be eligible for a 10% discount on their auto insurance. An 8-hour course is initially required, followed by a 4-hour refresher class every three years. Register online at webtrac.lakeville.gov, then select "Active Adults, then "Classes & Events", or call 1-888-234-1294, and tell them you would like a class in Lakeville.

    Did you know that every two seconds someone needs blood? Supplies are low and summer is a difficult time to recruit donors. So, please help your local community.

    We are anticipating donor time slots will fill up fast, so please don't wait to sign up.

    This Memorial Blood Centers drive is the 2nd annual sponsored by: Lakeville Rotary, local businesses, Lakeville Chamber of Commerce, Lakeville Public Safety Foundation, as well as the City of Lakeville. Sponsors have donated prizes this year, such as Twins and Vikings tickets, gift cards for local restaurants, a Minnesota Wild jersey and much more! Our goal is 150 units, so please help us top last year's collection.
