The Lakeville Fire Department has developed a fire incidents dashboard, which shows live and continually updated statistics on incidents our firefighters have responded to since 2020. You can view the data by incident type (building fire, gas leak, medical assist, motor vehicle accident, etc.), property type (family dwelling, school, hotel, restaurant, open field, etc.) and much more.
One particularly useful element on the dashboard is the heat map (there's a link in the menu below the map). The heat map uses color to highlight areas of high incident activity and shows us trends in the City. This is what we use to ensure we have fire stations in the correct locations.
